Nippon Active Value Fund PLC: Tapping into corporate culture change in Japan

Nippon Active Value Fund PLC’s Gifford Combs sat down with Proactive London’s Andrew Scott ahead of its IPO in London.

They’re looking to build a focused portfolio of listed Japanese stocks which are suitable for ‘activist shareholder engagement’.

Combs says now’s the ideal time to launch the fund because of the recent regulatory and governance changes in Japan.
